OUSD board to vote on $250 a month in 'hazard pay' for teachers at Wednesday, April 21, meeting

4 19 21 OUSD logoOjai Unified school board will meet for the second time in a week on Wednesday, April 21, starting at 4:45 p.m. to consider ratifying an agreement for teachers to receive $250 a month in "hazard pay" from January to June 2021 if they work in-person at a school site and could potentially be a close contact wth students.

The school board approved a $200-a-month stipend on Jan. 25 for OUSD classified employees who could be in contact with students. The January OVN article can be read HERE

The meeting will open in open session, go into closed session after public comment, and then resume in public session at 5:30 p.m.

This Wednesday, April 21, meeting will be held via teleconference and live-streamed.
